I Think I Like This Little Life...


The trend before I left on my mission was "I think I like this little life" and I literally can't get that song out of my head! It's so funny but SO annoying hahahah! Everytime I start to sing it I think of my mom and sisters and how I just annoyed them so bad with it 🤣🤣  

Is this song still trending on Tiktok? Just curious 🙈👀

Anyways this was a very fun week! It was Sister Wooleys Birthday and we did a ton of fun things to celebrate!! 

Highlights from this week:

- We had Lunch with the Birthday girl and got her this fluffy Green Bunny from Walmart! She loved it!! 🐰

- The elders thought it would be fun to get some decorations and go decorate her apartment door! They asked us if we could help and it turned out so cute!! (Pic down below)

- We had extra decorations from decorating her door so we decided to use the rest to decorate the room we have District Council in! I videoed us surprising her and I'm gonna have my parents post it on my Tiktok! So go check it out! 😉

- We did a little Road trip again to see Breanna! She is the cutest!

- That night we drove back home and got some icecream with our District! I got Cotton Candy flavor and it was *Chefs Kiss* 

- Sunday was St. Patricks Day!! Our ward was having a Potluck! I had no idea what this was until I came on my mission! Apparently it's where everyone sticks around after church and we all have food! They had yummy desserts and I got to hang out with some of the Youth!! 

- TRANSFER NEWS!! Sunday night we had our call that tells us if we stay in an area or go to a new one and if Sister Stewart and I stay companions or not!! Well... Take your guesses! Am I staying or going somewhere new?

I'M STAYING!!! And Sister Stewart and I are still going to be Companions!!! 🥳 This is gonna be so fun! I LOVE the area I'm in and all the people in it! I can't wait to be here for another 6 weeks 🥰

I'm so grateful for the savior and his sacrifice he made for us! Because of his sacrifice I have been able to come out to Montana and share his Gospel! Although I miss my Family and all of you guys, I'm so happy to be out here and be a Missionary!!

Here is a little scripture that I read this week:

2 Nephi 28:32 

"For notwithstanding I shall lengthen out mine arm unto them from day to day, they will deny me; nevertheless, I will be merciful unto them, saith the Lord God, if they will repent and come unto me; for mine arm is lengthened out all the day long, saith the Lord God of Hosts."

God is so merciful and he will always have his hand reaching out to us. He is ready to grab your hand when you are. ❣️

I was gonna write a separate email for my first week as a missionary but I feel like it's to late so I'm just gonna combine the 2 weeks into one email lol. So let's get into it  Monday January 8th: Today WAS THE DAY. It was my first offical day as a missionary. I started Home MTC (missionary training) and I was actually a little nervous. I've heard mix feelings about home mtc. But it ended up being super good! It was a longggg day though. I'm on zoom calls for over 6 hours everyday but I met my district (group) and everyone is super cool. I also met my companion and she is super sweet. She is from Texas and we are both going to Billings Montana for our missions! Last Week in the MTC!!

  Last Week In The MTC! Monday January 22nd: Not much happened this day, but I guess every week at the MTC you have a little service project that you are signed up for! Well today was the day of our service project. We got to.... (Insert drumroll) SERVE FOOD IN THE CAFETERIA!! 😁 They put me in the "Aloha" area where they have chicken, rice, and macaroni! Let's just say I will not be getting this meal anytime soon haha.... Tuesday January 23rd: YAY FOR PREPARATION DAY! This is a day where we don't have any classes and we can talk to our families/get things done (like laundry) We started the day by going to the temple and took our annual mirror pic on the way up to the temple (see pic below). Then I got to talk to my family!! It was soooo good to talk to them again! Later my District and I went and play some Volleyball at the gym! After that we had a little devotional and this is when we sang our song "I Feel My Saviors Love" that we learned at choir practice

MONTANA HERE I COME!!!

Let me first start off with I'm sorry that I send out my emails so late haha. I'm not used to writing these yet so it takes me a second to get them done!  Tuesday January 30th: We started off the week by packing our bags! I got my flight information for Montana and I leave Friday February 1st! Tbh I'm actually really sad to be leaving the MTC. I have grown so close to my District and once we leave we are all being separated because we all have separate missions! So I'm trying to soak up all the time I have in the MTC Wednesday January 31st: We had our last day of class as a whole district! Some people are leaving Thursday (tomorrow) and so this would be our last time together in class. We took lots of pics and signed each others journals! It lowkey felt like the last day of school and we were signing yearbooks haha  Thursday February 1st: MY LAST DAY AT THE MTC... This day was bittersweet. Elder Morris and Elder Malley were the first to leave everyone. They left at 3:00
