Last Week in the MTC!!

 Last Week In The MTC!

Monday January 22nd: Not much happened this day, but I guess every week at the MTC you have a little service project that you are signed up for! Well today was the day of our service project. We got to.... (Insert drumroll) SERVE FOOD IN THE CAFETERIA!! 😁 They put me in the "Aloha" area where they have chicken, rice, and macaroni! Let's just say I will not be getting this meal anytime soon haha....

Tuesday January 23rd: YAY FOR PREPARATION DAY! This is a day where we don't have any classes and we can talk to our families/get things done (like laundry) We started the day by going to the temple and took our annual mirror pic on the way up to the temple (see pic below). Then I got to talk to my family!! It was soooo good to talk to them again! Later my District and I went and play some Volleyball at the gym! After that we had a little devotional and this is when we sang our song "I Feel My Saviors Love" that we learned at choir practice! It was actually super fun! My companion said we made the "big screen" they had at the devotional but I was looking down so I didn't see it haha.

Wednesday January 24th: Because my companions and I are Sister Training Leaders we had a meeting at 8:00 am! They told us that we have NEW MISSIONARIES coming this week and we needed to go check on them when they got here! I'm seriously so excited for all the new missionaries to come because MTC is really such a fun experience.

That afternoon my companion got a text from one of the leaders asking if we wanted to help with the tours that they do here at the MTC! We agreed and it turned out to be such a cool experience. I got to meet some really sweet people and see some familiar faces! We talked a lot about Jesus Christ and told people how cool the MTC is!

Thursday January 25th: Nothing crazy happened today! My teacher brought her Guitar and some of the Elders played some songs! Then later that night we had a little "Workshop" where we learned more about how to post on Social Media! It was one of my favorite classes haha ;)

Friday January 26th: This was the day that I pulled out my MINI MICROPHONE! I remember seeing it in my room when I was packing and I grabbed it but wasn't sure I was gonna use it!.. OH HOW I'M SO GLAD I GRABBED IT! My district and I took so many videos and we even went around the whole campus to interview people lol! Stay tuned for those videos! :))

Saturday January 27th: We had another temple day. But today was sooo different then the last time we went. I felt the spirit so much, it got me so excited for my future and serving my mission in Montana. I can't believe that this day next week I will be in Montana!! Later that night we went to the the gym again but instead of playing Volleyball we played PING PONG! I went against Elder bird because we both suck at ping pong and he beat me in both games lol. I told him we need a rematch asap. So I will update you next week if I beat him at ping pong hehe.

Sunday January 28th: It was our last Sunday here at the MTC! We went to church and it was crazy to think that next Sunday I will be at a new church in Montana! Ahhh I'm so nervous.

Monday January 29th: Ok first of all can we talk about how fast January went by??? I can't believe it's the 29th! This Monday was a lot chiller then last Monday! We had our classes and then played our last game of Volleyball for the last time at the MTC. I ended up playing Pickle Ball with some of the Elders and it was sooo much fun! The last time I played Pickle Ball was with my friends almost 2 years ago before they left on there missions. It's crazy how fast time is flying by!

Well the next time I send an email... I'LL BE IN MONTANA!! EKEKEK! Stay tuned! Love you guys and see you guys next week! ❤️

Scripture verse of the week:

 Moroni 10:23

"And Christ truly said unto our fathers: If ye have faith ye can do all things which are expedient unto me."

  16. It is good you have a nice photo of the temple. The Provo temple will not be there when you come back to Utah, but you will have a LOT of others to choose from!. I just watched Boston's vlog with a Facetime of Brock. Boston alone in the big home across the street from me for a few days--it seems so quiet. I miss seeing all of the fun all of you friends had together! And me asking you if you were going to dress as the "Bride of Frankenstein" when I ran across the street to give you a little mission care package. Back to the vlogs: tonight I also I watched Taylor's mom vlogging about fun with Taylor in Hawaii, then your moms' vlog which reminded me about your blogspot! I love reading about your mission experiences, looking at the photos you post (and hearing your laugh). How wonderful that both you and Brock are loving your missions and your companions, as well as being excited to spread the Gospel! May you always feel the Spirit during the good times and the hard times!
